We here at Sealy Pregnancy Resource Center want to be as transparent as possible with you. We want you to know that we are here to help you in any way possible. We go out of our way to ensure that your experience here is a good one. If at any time you have any concerns, please speak up and let us know how we can do better. We are here for you. Below is a list of some of the frequently asked questions that we receive. How Much does it cost?
All of our services are free.
How can I get help?
If you are a new client requesting a pregnancy test, you can schedule your appointment online. Call us at (979) 472-8663 to schedule your appointment now.
How do I qualify for your services?
We provide services to expectant moms and dads and parents with children up to the age of 36 months of age.
What kind of pregnancy test do you do?
We provide urine pregnancy tests only. If you require a blood drawn pregnancy test, we will refer you out to another facility.
Can you provide me with a Report of Pregnancy?
Yes, we can provide you with a report of pregnancy with a positive pregnancy test that is administered here in our center. Your Report of Pregnancy can be uploaded at MyTexasBenefits.com as a required verification.
What do I need to bring for my Report of Pregnancy?
It is recommended that you provide a picture ID which is copied onto your Report of Pregnancy. If you don't have one available, we will provide it without ID.
Do I have to be a certain age to use your services?
No. We serve all age groups. If you are a minor you are welcome to bring your parent/parents with you.
Can I bring my boyfriend/husband with me?
Yes. biological fathers and fathers to be are eligible for services with or without the mother present.
I need help getting Medicaid and other services?
We are a Community Partner and can provide assistance to you in signing up for Medicaid, SNAP, etc.
Can you help me get signed up for WIC?
We have a listing of all local WIC offices and can provide you with the contact information. You will need to contact them for enrollment.
Can I bring my children?
Absolutely! We have a wonderful play area for the children and they are welcome to be in the classrooms with you as well.
Can I get an ultrasound?
We do provide ultrasounds for those with a positive pregnancy test. Ultrasounds are only given to those 10 to 20 weeks of pregnancy. Ultrasounds are by appointment only.
Do I need to be a US Citizen?
No. We serve all regardless of immigration status, religion, race, etc.
I'm a minor, can my parents come with me?
Yes. We provide assistance and services to parents and parents of minors.
I'm adopting a child/children. Am I eligible to receive services at your center?
Yes. Once you have begun the process of your adoption you are eligible.
I'm the parent of someone who is pregnant, can I come in to talk to someone for guidance of where to go from here?
Yes. We partner with other agencies and organizations to provide the best possible resources to help in your time of need. Feel free to come in and we will be more than happy to sit down with you and talk.
I'm a foster parent and need assistance?
We have had foster parents reach out and need emergency assistance with formula, food, and clothing. Feel free to give us a call and we will be more than happy to assist you. We usually require verification from a CPS agent.
You mentioned that you provide material assistance, what is that?
Material assistance includes, but not limited to: formula, baby food, maternity clothing, diapers, wipes, infant and Childrens clothing up to 5T, high chairs, infant bathtubs, strollers, walkers, and more. We receive a lot of donations allowing us to be able to provide you with most of what you will need for you and your baby.
